Overview:

PENTA offers the ability to copy timecards from a prior period and applying those hours to a current pay period. Hours can be copied from any prior pay period end date, and the copy process can filter the hours to only employees in a certain crew, payroll class, payroll group, or employees that belong to a specific check sort group. Once you have selected the group of employees and pay period that you are interested in copying, you can decide how much of the prior periods timecards you want to copy. Examples include, copy employee information only, copy employees, and cost distributions but no hours, or copy employees, distributions and hours.

Once the timecards have been copied into the current payroll batch, overrides can be made such as record currently period Paid Time Off. This video below walks though this process in depth.
