Overview:
The Pricing Schedules facilitate Cost Plus/Time & Material contract revenue and billing calculations for Jobs or Work Orders. There are two types of pricing schedule categories in PENTA: 1) Standard Labor, Equipment, Inventory, & Other Pricing Schedules and 2) Job Specific Labor, Equipment, Inventory, & Other Pricing Schedules. PENTA checks the Job Specific Pricing Schedules first for a match, if no match found, Standard Pricing Schedules assigned to the Job are then checked for a match to figure out the revenue and billing amount associated with the cost.
Benefits:
- Flexibility to sell work with different pricing/markup structures, set standard pricing/markups for all work, or both (equipment and inventory marked up the same but labor price changes by region of work)
- Labor can be billed by the hour with an hourly rate or cost marked up depending how the work is sold
- Labor Burden can be marked up differently or not at all
- Copy from another Job or use a Standard Pricing Schedule as a starting point to make minor tweaks for a job
Roles:
- Project Manager/Coordinator
- Billing Dept
- Controller
