Overview:
Use the Location Types window to categorize the various types of customer addresses you maintain in the Customers window. Examples include:
- Corporate Office
- Commercial Facility
- Field Office
- Warehouse
- Residence
You can also identify certain types that represent locations or sites where your company performs contract work via the use of the 'Work Site' checkbox.
NOTE: If you are using PENTA's Customer Console, only locations that are assigned a location type checked as a 'Work Site' will appear in the location search.
Benefits:
- Ability to categorize locations by location type
- Track locations types where work is performed vs a customer corporate office or remit to address
