Overview:
The Workers Compensation window allows user to add or modify Workers Compensation Codes and Rates in PENTA. For Workers Compensation purposes there are generally three categories of setup : The Workers Compensation Code and associated rate, what general ledger accounts are utilized for Workers Compensation accrual purposes, and lastly the Workers Compensation State that applies to the timecard (typically driven by Job/Work Order ORĀ Employee Master). In the Workers Compensation Codes and Rates window, the user will focus on: Setting up the Master Code and Rate for a given Workers Compensation State. This window also allows users to set up Job-Cost Type/Costcode and Job Type cross references, enabling the user to define which Jobs or Job Types a given Workers Compensation Code is attributable to.

- Gives users the ability to correctly withhold Worker Compensation for time logged in periods dated before the most current Workers Compensation Rate
- Gives users the ability to tie Workers Compensation rates to specific Jobs/Cost Types or Costcodes
