Overview:

Worker Classification codes serve as an attribute of an employee, providing a data point that can help clarify what an employee's role is within the company. This data point feeds into general PENTA reporting and is the conduit to PENTA's EEO reporting functionality. Worker Classifications can be set up in one of two places:  1) At the employee level (As an override) or 2) at the Payroll Class Pay Rate Level. If your company is using PENTA to generate EEO reports, then every employee must have a Workers Classification code assigned to them (either via the Pay Class or as an override).
