The Workers Compensation window allows user users to add or modify Workers Compensation Codes and Rates in PENTA. For Workers Compensation purposes, there are generally three Categories categories of setup : The Workers Comp Compensation Code and associated rate, what general ledger accounts are utilized for workers comp Workers Compensation accrual purposes, and lastly the Workers Comp Compensation State that applies to the timecard (typically driven by Job/work Work Order ORĀ Employee MaterMaster). In the Workers Comp Compensation Codes and Rates window, the user will focus on the first item: Setting setting up the Master Code and Rate, GL accounts and WC State (as it appears on the timecard) is not addressed in this windowWorkers Compensation Codes and Rates for a given Workers Compensation State. This window also allows users to set up Job-Cost Type/Costcode and Job Type cross references, enabling the user to define which Jobs or Job Types a given Workers Comp Compensation Code is attributable to.
Benefits:
- Enables users to track changes in Workers Comp Compensation Rates across time.
- Gives users the ability to correctly withhold Worker Compensation for time logged in periods dated before the most current WC Workers Compensation Rate
