After setting up Financial Budget Weight Factors, you can use this window to apply those your budget weight factors by to general ledger accounts, for each Organizational Unit and Budget type. This process is optional, and would only be utilized if you are not loading your budgets in from Excel. For each OU/Budget type combination, you can optionally use this process to enter the General Ledger Account #, the Financial Budget Weight Group, and Annual Amount to have PENTA automatically allocate out the annual budget amount across the 12 periods using the weight factors previously setupdefined in your weight factor group. This process will save your organization a lot of time, if your budgets are manually entered/calculated in PENTA using weight factors.
