The Change Requests window lets you is used to enter, modify, and view Change Requests and changes to an estimate; specifically, you canchange requests that will impact a Job Estimate or Contract. The Change Requests entered into PENTA create the Change Management log that is used to track the changes, both internal and external.
Benefits:
- Record job-related “issues” that could impact the job’s estimated cost, projected total cost, contract value and/or committed costs.
- Group each issue into user defined Change Request Type categories.
- Track the evolution of a Change Request from pending to approved/rejected using user definable status codes.
- If available, you can enter amounts, units, and hours in detail at a job/Cost Type/Costcode level. Based on the change type and status, this detail can immediately update both the job’s budget and projected total cost.
- Track revisions to the Change Request financial data.
- Track each change request’s progress history.
